Cancellations/Refunds
Cancellations must be received via email (please reference Geo-Congress 2024) by February 1, 2024. A $100 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds.
Child Care Grant
The G-I will offer grants of up to $250 USD to help members with dependent children attend Geo-Congress 2024.
Grant applications must be submitted prior to midnight Eastern time on January 5, 2024.
The reimbursement form and submission email will be sent to applicants on February 25-28, 2024.
Reimbursements will be distributed by March 25, 2024 - following Geo-Congress 2024.
Grant Eligibility and Terms
- Grant recipients must be G-I members and must have attended Geo-Congress 2024
- Only one grant per family
- Grants will be awarded to help defray the costs of child care provided at the conference location
Examples of eligible expenses include
- Fees for babysitters on-site at the conference location
- Airfare/hotel costs for a caregiver to travel to the conference location
Examples of ineligible expenses include
- Child care provided in the member’s hometown
- Tickets to attractions
Show Your Badge Program
Show Your Badge Program – this is a digital program that will run from Jan thru December 2024 for congress attendees. It is for special value-add/discount offers to any congress attendee “showing their conference name badge” to redeem the offer at the participating business. As a congress attendee you can review the various offers prior to arrival and even plan your use of the discounts.
